Hi!
To "revive" this blog, I'll upload some pictures that I've taken for Friday's Ideas In Action Exhibition. (:

The participants and ICs of the booths are Natalie, Hui Shi, Ricia, Winanto and Felicia Jin(but she wasn't present thay day cause of her exams.) Their using old or damaged paint bushes to make into cute little figurines or keychains!

The prcesses are to cut up the paint brushes, sand them, glue them together and paint them. If I'm not mistaken that is. (:

Attention artclub members!
Next friday(21st march),there will be no artclub due to good friday!

Hey guys.this may be the last time i post aournd this year?
as O levels are coming and i have to step down.
i will miss all the times in artclub(:
study hard and stay happy always everyone.
and also jiayou to all graduates for your major exams.
Today is artclub camp.first camp in year 2008.
and its one day non-residential camp.
BBQ was cancelled due to some reasons but still there willl be just that it will be at june or year end. so everyone just wait(:
anw,I enojy today's camp.
though treasure hunt was in a mess.
but still i hope everyone like today's camp! :D

The tee is ready!
sec ones to sec thress is compulsory while sec 4 who are the graduates is optional.
Its a normal tee,with blac and white colour.
Its below $10.
price will be confirm aournd near saturday.
everyone please bring $10 this friday(22/2) for the tee.
the remaning money will return you once the price is confirmed.

hey guys!
this year artclb tee design is out!
its done by huishi of sec 3b!
the tee will be in black colour whereas the ither patterns will be white colour only.
hope you all will like it.
it will be cheaper if more ppl order.
for the sec ones,its compulsory!
while sec 2 and above its optional.
we decide to have one tee per batch.hope this will go successful.
anyway,next week there will not be artclb due to CNY.
so wish all the chinese students a happy CNY! and the other students a happy holidays!
the following week after the CNY week.there will be artclub.
so guys!please bring two empty eggshell for the next artclub session!

Hey guys!
Three of our teams who partake in the 'Paint The Bin' competitoin at west coast park on last week.
The judging and prize-giving ceremony was held last saturday which was the 26th Jan.All our artclub members had attended this very memorable session.
even though we didnt manage to win any prizes.but we got our COP and gain alot of experience and fun! we have free MAC lunch! hahas,eat until we were real full.
some of our members went round the park chit chat and play the playgrounds! refreshing our childhood memories! lol!

Hey peepo!
back blogging again.
there's so much to do and work on recenlty.but i will try my best to update this blog!
iam sure no ones want a dull and boring JVSAC blog! ahhas!
anyway,first lets us all welcome our new sec ones members of 2008!
hey dear sec ones,hope you all will enjoy being part as artclub family! :D

last sat,group of artclub members went to wescoast to take part in the dustbin painting competition.
it was great! :D
team 1:zihui,felicia wong and cheryl.
team 2:me[feliciajin],ee ting and daphne.
team 3 was non-artclub members.but we wish them good luck too(:
we jope tmr which is the 26th Jan we can get atleast one prize.
but no matter win or lose,we have try our best and helping and doing something to the community! (:
all the besta nd good luck to our three teams!
we spent about four days on the three bins due to the bad weather.
it was raining on the day 2 and 3.

5 Jan 2008 is the annual CCA FAIR!
but this year,it kinda rush..oushed the sec one O camp with the CCa fair on the first week of school!
which is damn bloody rush!but artclub manage to get everything worked out and done!
Thanks to those who came to help out during the CCa Fair and also during 4jan for the decorating of our booth!
Our booth was situated at near the genral office,near the pond..THE DETENTION TABLES!
Red tables for short!
yeah,its kinda quiet there,its seems like it will not attract nay sec ones to come see and take a very good look.
but luck on that day,we still manage to get some sec ones interested in joining. which was real lucky!
thank god,atleats we manage to take down three sec ones' names!
which is better than nothing! ~
thanks to all artclub members' efforts!

even though we cant shiut or taunt! but nvm,we did our best to attract ppl to our booth.
but wasnt that successful.we did try our best.
we hope that our location will be better next year! its a MUST AND A PLEASE!

Objectives:
1) Engage the community in protecting the environment so that literacy of climate change can be achieved.
2) Showcase and recognize efforts in achieving the South West District three Public Health Goals, namely:
a) A Litter-Free Environment
b) A Clean, Dry & Sparking Public Toilets
c) A Community that does not Spread Bugs.

3) One of the highlights for the EcoCommunity @ South west is as follow:
Recycling & Public Health Segment/Exhibition

Art club have set a booth there..n we exhibited sum artefacts n products make from our art club members.We r vry proud to sae that it is a sucess.Thks to all mebers' efforts n hard wrk!WELL DONE!!continue to wrk hard!!!

Art Club

Date: 22.09.06

Venue: Tanglin Camp

The art club members went to Tanglin camp which was held for the Singaore Biennale 2006.
The Singapore Biennale will held from 4th September to 12th November.
The art club members went there for a fruitful trip that will teaches them the beauty of art n let them learn new experience.
There were many art pieces put there,but we did not managed to view all,but the members have really learn something new.We have watch some movies,went into rooms n rooms.
We have view many different types of art pieces like some r in the from of sulptures,some in the form of photos,others in the form of videos.
the members had learn that art must not really express on a drawing paper but can in many others forms.

The trip indeed was a fruitful Trip,all members had enjoy their day with our teacher-in-charge-mdm rafilah and also Mr Chua who was our ceramic instructor last two terms.
He went with us there to vieew art works n talk to us some art experiences n explain some of the art works to us.

After viewing the art pieces at the Tanglin Camp,we went to Jurong east entertainment centre to eat PIZZAS!!>>>YES!!YES!! I guess this was the best part of the trip.We went to PIZZA HUT to eat PIZZAS!!!! HoOray!!
